Because my mother was always a crafty person that is what I was drawn to, unique adorable anything and everything for my little Kuties. When my first son, Leland, was born I couldn't wait to make all the details for his parties from the handmade invitations to the cake! I couldn't get enough.
In 2012, when my daughter, Kinley, was born it exploded into clothing; Tutus, headbands, shirts, anything you can image! We started hand making clothing for her and before we knew it we were selling handmade pieces for little girls all over the world for birthdays, weddings and many other events. It was such an honor to make some of the most special outfits that a little girl will have in her life.
My husband and I lived in our RV on my mother’s property with two kids while taking over my mother’s house for our business. Not long after Kutie Tuties expanded throughout the entire house.
When we decided to pack up everything and move from our very small town in Palatka, FL to Smyrna, TN in our RV with two kids has to be one of the scariest things we have ever done. I worked out of that RV with every little nook and small space filled with all kinds of supplies imaginable while my mother ran the other part from Florida. There were many times of "can we really do this" and an unimaginable amount of stress. There came a point where we were bursting at the seams of our RV. Although it wasn’t easy, I wouldn’t trade those days for anything!
My mother and I have worked side by side since day one molding our company into what is now the future of little girls clothing.
